Minor drowns to death in Rafiabad | KNO

Sopore, May 29 (KNO): A five-year-old girl was drowned to death on Friday in Rafiabad village of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district. Eyewitnesses told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a minor girl drowned in ditch-water in Rafiabad in this evening, stating that her family was busy in an orchard in the village when she got slipped in the ditch-water. “After evacuating her from the water, she was immediately rushed to Sub District Hospital (SDH) Sopore where doctor declared her brought dead,” they said. Hospital authorities identified the deceased as Adiya Hameed, daughter of Abdul Hameed Behrampora of Rafiabad village. Meanwhile, police has taken cognizance of the incident –(KNO)
